  First of all, let me say that it's very hard to find a carriage ride when you're not in your car right behind one. If you've made it this far, great job! I purchased about an hour slot with them in order to enjoy the sunset and riverfront lights in Peoria to top off my wedding day. That will be one of the most memorable parts of my day by far. The driver was courteous and well-mannered, the "vehicle" didn't have any problems. The actual carriage was in road worthy condition. What you see is what you get from here, and you get what you pay for. They have a specific route (I'm guessing planned in conjunction with the city), and don't stray too far from it. I had to pull teeth just to get a coach to water and state streets so I wouldn't have to drive a car to the buggy to the car to the reception again. All in all we made a good decision, and I believe that we'll do it again this year (with 3 little girls this time!). Well worth the money if you're into that kind of thing...
