  Have been here several times. It is a restored old time theatre reminiscent of the 50s or 60s. They have two screens here. The staff has always been more than pleasant and accommodating on our visits. They have full concessions as well. Great place to go for a date night of family night out. The only bad thing about the place is that the seats aren't the most comfortable in the world. By going to small town theaters like this one we help preserve some of the Americana thay makes our nation's great and I highly recommend chillicothe town theatre.

  Love the history of this old theatre! The Optimists own it now and are always improving the service and the building. I can remember, for a treat going into Chillicothe to see movies here with my family. Its even better now because I know the profits are used in so many helpful ways in the community. We also enjoy the fun activities surrounding Halloween and new movie launches. Special treats, door prizes, face painting, raffles and surprise guests. The building is also used for jewellery shows and other community based things. We will always come here when in the area.
